Area of use

USA, UK

The fine sediment that settles in the slow-moving waters of a river meander. A bare foot sinking into a cowbelly, though it may feel the change in temperature, scarcely registers a change of state from liquid to solid as is sinks through a layer of silt as fine as talc.
